If you are experiencing problems in using the ChamberPass site, you are kindly requested to consult our Frequently Asked Questions section. If these FAQs have not answered your question, or if you wish to make any general comments or observations about the site, please contact ChamberPass and we will respond to your query as quickly as possible.
Q: Who can benefit from the services offered on ChamberPass?
A: Any company that is looking for services offered by well-established and trustworthy Chambers of Commerce related to international trade, import / export and business expansion in Europe and beyond.
Q: Can I register myself or my company on the ChamberPass site?
A: No. Only Chambers of Commerce can register.
Q: I am not a member of a Chamber of Commerce, can I still benefit from the services advertised via ChamberPass?
A: Yes, but you will not be able to benefit of any of the discounts open to members of affiliated Chambers. Therefore, if you are not member of a Chamber of Commerce, please consider registering for membership with your local Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Q: I am member of a Chamber of Commerce, but my Chamber is not part of the ChamberPass network. Can I still benefit from the services advertised on ChamberPass?
A: Yes, but you will not be able to benefit of any of the discounts open to members of affiliated Chambers. Therefore, if you are a member of a Chamber which is not yet part of ChamberPass, you might want to advise your Chamber that by joining ChamberPass, it is doing its members a big favour.
Q: What can I expect from a ChamberPass Chamber if I decide to request a certain service?
A:You can expect to be contacted within 2 working days by that Chamber to discuss your needs in more detail, and to jointly agree what services the Chamber should provide to you.
Q: If the city/region in which I want to do business is not listed in the search menu, can I still contact the local Chamber of Commerce to assist me?
A: If the city or region of your choice is not listed, it means that the local Chamber of Commerce has not subscribed to ChamberPass. Of course you are free to contact the Chamber concerned, but ChamberPass can't give you any guarantee that the Chamber will assist you.
Q: What happens when I have selected a service I click the “Request” button?
A: When you click the “Request” button, the following will happen:
Your data and your service specification will be sent to the Chamber offering the service. A copy of the e-mail will be sent to the ChamberPass administrator and to your own Chamber of Commerce (if you are a member of an affiliated Chamber). You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your request has been sent to the Chamber you selected.
The Chamber will respond to your request within 2 working days, informing you about the exact nature of its service, the price (if applicable) and its terms and conditions.
It will be your responsibility to find an agreement with the Chamber. Any payments are organised between you and the Chamber directly. It is currently not possible to pay for a service using the ChamberPass system.
Q: By clicking the “Request” button, do I commit myself to anything?
A: No, you only send a request for information to your selected Chamber. Only after the Chamber has specified the exact nature of its service and has provided you with its terms and conditions, will you be asked to commit to making an order.
Q: What will happen to the data I give in the form for requesting a service? Can these data be used for any purpose other than for informing a Chamber of the service I would like to use?
A: No, your data will not be used for any other purpose, nor will they be transferred or sold to third parties. Please read our Privacy Statement for a detailed description of our policy.
Q: If I request a service in a language other than English, will I be able to communicate in that language with someone at the Chamber concerned?
A: Yes, if a service is offered in a specific language, it means that the Chamber concerned has a member of staff available who will communicate with you in that language.
Q: How many requests can I send to the participating Chambers via the website ?
A: You can send up to 5 requests to the participating Chambers within one session. If you wish to broaden your research for information and contact more Chambers, please start a new session by closing your browser and reopening the ChamberPass website. ChamberPass has been designed to enable companies to easily and rapidly contact Chambers who offer quality services. It has not been designed for sending unsollicited spam-type e-mails to the largest possible number of correspondents.
Q: From reading the description of the service category I have selected, I do not completely understand what kind of service the Chamber of Commerce can offer to me and whether it is the service I am looking for. What should I do?
A: If the specific service you are looking for should normally fall under the category you've selected, you should press the “Request” button and fill out the service request form. On the form, you can specify in your own words what specific service you require (e.g. list of importers, exporters, distributors or other Chamber services). The Chamber concerned will let you know within 2 working days whether it can help you with your specific request.
Q: What happens if I'm unhappy with the service provided to me by a Chamber?
A: All Chambers that have joined ChamberPass have agreed to a Membership Agreement, which lays down all requirements these Chambers have to comply with. ChamberPass will do its best to ensure that services offered through the ChamberPass system will be of the highest possible quality. If you have a complaint regarding a specific service, you may contact ChamberPass and we will try to resolve the problem with the Chamber concerned.
Q: If I have a good idea on how the ChamberPass service could be improved, or if I wish to complain about a bad service what should I do?
A: We are always very interested in receiving feedback from our users. If you have any comments or suggestions, please write to info@chamberpass.com
